Aries Ingress of 2025
Dissolution through Disinformation
The Aries Ingress of 2025 is right around the corner, happening during the Spring Equinox on March 20th. This is the time of year that the Sun enters the sign of Aries in the tropical zodiac, beginning the cycle through the signs once again. I use the sidereal Krishnamurti zodiac, so the Aries ingress happens when the Sun conjoins the Vernal Point. The Vernal Point in the sidereal zodiac just marks where 0 degrees tropical Aries appears on the chart. For example, this is a photo of this year’s Aries Ingress, and the location of the Sun on the Vernal Point in Sidereal Pisces
Both the Sun and Vernal Point are currently at 5 degrees and 53 minutes of Pisces, which aligns with 0 degrees Aries of the Tropical Zodiac. Through looking at the Aries Ingress, with the location set to the capitol city of the country, we can read what this year has in store for the country.
In the Sidereal Zodiac this year, there will be four ingress charts due to the Ascendant of the Aries Ingress being located in Capricorn. So I will be posting an Ingress post this summer for the Cancer Ingress, this fall for the Libra Ingress, and this winter for the Capricorn Ingress.
Intro Into the Ingress
This ingress will last until the Summer Solstice on June 20, 2025. So the themes I discuss will be prevalent until mid-summer. With such a pileup of planets in Pisces in the third house, the first word that comes to mind is disillusionment. Both Venus and Mercury are retrograde within a house that governs the news, popular media, and communications between the leaders of the country and the people. Venus is acting as if fallen and in the ninth house, while Mercury is acting as if exalted in the ninth house. This peculiar placement of two retrograde planets going from exaltation to fall and vice-versa is one that echoes throughout every aspect of the chart. Not to mention a mutual reception between Jupiter in Taurus and Venus in Pisces. The Lot of Fortune is situated with Jupiter in the fifth house, signifying the wealthy, while trine the ninth where we would find the exalted Mercury and fallen Venus with Ketu, or the South Node.
These aspects and placements can have different significations and delineations depending on what groups we are delineating for. For example, these placements are good for the wealthy because there are hints that they will be able to manipulate markets to make money. BUT for the signification of children, this is worrying because it can imply we are strategically stripping them of resources and rights that keep them happy, educated, and well-fed.
Another observation I have been considering is that the Aries ingress happens while Saturn is located at 28 degrees and 57 minutes of Aquarius, but will ingress into Pisces on March 28th just around 13 hours before the Solar Eclipse in the same sign. While Saturn will be transiting Pisces soon, the implications of Saturn at the closing degrees of Aquarius will be visible through to the Cancer Ingress this summer on June 20th.
Starting With The Sun
The Sun is placed in the third house of Pisces, co-present Mercury, Venus, and Rahu, with a tight conjunction to Neptune. Neptune is generally not read within traditional timing techniques, but I’ve found it gives its input into the yearly story as well even if a bit invisible to the naked eye in the sky. Many traditional astrologers will claim that we should not read Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto when delineating charts since they were not visible to the naked eye when our astrology ancestors were practicing and developing techniques. From my point of view, we have a huge amount of historical charts to look at to see what any of these planets were doing at that time, and from these observations we can begin to make sense of these invisible planets. Neptune, in my experience, brings in disillusionment, disinformation, deception, and loss. Neptune is in a close conjunction with both the Vernal Point and the Sun during this ingress, and because of this will have a louder affect on the chart.
I read Neptune often in midpoints, and outside of more spiritual or psychic significations, it shows some harder and more confusing things within the chart. In the midpoints including Neptune to the Sun from the Aries Ingress, there are themes of health and sickness, trouble with planes, damage through poisoning, and the spread of disease while physically near other people or animals (when considering Jupiter ruling Neptune while in Taurus.)
While these are all located in the third house, we can also connect this to primary education especially with Mercury here as well. I expect there to be spread of disease in school, but also a focus on children falling behind and misinformation surrounding this. Many children are now dealing with the fallout of multiple Covid-19 infections, which has been proven to negatively impact the immune system, resulting in many children getting more sick than usual. The other implications of Covid-19 in everyone, including kids, is the impact it has on the brain and cognitive ability. It’s likely a lot of symptoms to do with the mental repercussions of covid infections will be blamed on media and on phone usage, for example: trouble staying focused, lack of empathy, quick to anger, depressed mood, and mood swings from seemingly “small” triggers.
The third house significations can also bring in media, news, and communications between the government and the people. This is a time that will be primed with carefully selected and manipulated propaganda to steer people to react certain ways within the country as a whole. There are connections to battle and war within this house as well, which leads me to believe a lot of the communications we hear from the government through media will be about relations with other nations, wars with them, but also likely related to the current trade wars that are unfolding under the Trump administration. There may also be fear tactics and conspiracies that spread quickly with the trine to the Moon in Scorpio.
The d9 placement of the Sun is in Leo, while the d12 of the Sun is in Taurus. With these signs playing on each other throughout the next few months, there is a focus on the wealthy and the misinformation or disinformation that is spread to keep them hoarding resources and blaming financial issues on other people. There is a higher likelihood of spying between the United States and its enemies, but also spying and slander within the country between government officials and those with financial power. There’s an unwillingness to blindly trust others that may be within certain partnerships, but also the willingness of those in power to blind common people to the situation that’s unfolding. I could see the next few months possibly involving some scandal about market manipulation. There will be sugar-coated promises to bring the common people financial gains. There is a big focus on the difference between how the United States portrays itself to its people, and how the rest of the world sees the country. The interactions with the co-present retrograde Mercury and Venus bring in relational problems with countries over seas, problems which are reliant on international trade agreements. There will be lies and slander amongst those in the ruling and financially powerful classes, along with erratic actions as Mars is four signs from the Sun.
The last few points I want to mention are about some midpoints to the Sun and the themes they depict:
A focus on divorces and separations. Within our own lives we may see relationships break off, or maybe we are parting ways with certain friends ourselves. There may, in a mundane view, be a focus on the topic of divorce within the country, and/or possibly some news about a separation involving a government official.
Distance from truth. We may encounter people around us skewing the truth to fit their own objectives, or possibly we may find ourselves in a situation where we need to bend the truth. With other midpoints in this tree, it implies that these will be sudden events and likely covering something up sporadically. When thinking of this in a mundane perspective, we can expect to see people in the ruling class just kind of saying sh#t because they feel like it in the moment. This can lead to misleading information and potentially false promises.
Relaxation. The midpoint of the Vernal Point and Sun to Neptune can bring in themes of relaxation. Don’t forget to take some time to yourself and let yourself sit back and relax. This is going to be a stressful eclipse season, on top of this Aries Ingress, so don’t forget to take some breaks both mental and physical.
The Moon
The Moon is located in the same house as the Midheaven (MC), in the eleventh house of Scorpio, ruled by Mars in the sixth house. The Moon rules the seventh and is the exaltation lord of the fifth house. The Moon is fallen in Scorpio and via combusta by degree, which is generally thought to be a bad significator for the Moon. The Moon is opposite Jupiter, but also when we add in the significations of the Parivartana Yoga between Jupiter and Venus, it’s as if the Moon is both opposite and trine these planets and their significations.
So we know the people of the country will be focused on earning income, wishing to save up but it’s getting harder with the economy, and will always on the move but feeling drained in order to work and keep up with family and home life. The people of the country will be restless, feel betrayed, and also be talking about it a lot. With the significations of the third and fifth house being brought in, things look negative for children, women, and minorities.
The d9 of the Moon is in Libra, and the d12 of the Moon is in Pisces. This brings in a feeling of hard work being unproductive, and keeping the peace is also quite unproductive. It will be harder to keep our emotions under tabs due to the pressures against us, and this brings in the square that the Moon makes to Saturn, who is four signs from the Moon signifying mental states. There’s a sense of being under a lot of pressure, working hard, exhaustion, and feeling the weight of it all during the next few months. We may find ourselves hopelessly digging in to old hobbies to have an escape while we observe the chaos happening around us. Crafting our own safe little space within the world.
With the Moon being in the eleventh house and ruling the seventh, it seems like a lot of relations with other nations will be hanging on by thin strings. Other countries will be upset with our own, and even within our own country it seems there will be a lot of discourse around laws and legislation, and a lot of slander and lying that follows. Expect to see the governing parties blaming each other for things, as per usual, but also for this to be more theatrical than we are used to with the significations and connections to the third and fifth houses. I find it likely ambassadors for the US may also be sent back to the US or face spying and other war-time things.
It seems significant that deportations will keep escalating, but also there are interactions that make it seem as if detaining people will be more likely, whether in our own country or detaining them elsewhere. There are significations of the government trying to profit off of this, and I wouldn’t be shocked if we see more private prisons opening to detain immigrants for labor purposes.
There is a possibility the pileup in the third house being connected to the Moon will bring in hardships for the post office, phone/internet services, railroads, and general infrastructure throughout the country.
With the opposition to the Moon, we can also assume many alliances that are kept by the US will have financial and war-time basis. The closest alliances will be with countries that share the same ideals, but also those our country wants by their side during war. The midpoints to the Moon signify luck within these relationships, and that they will be incredibly supportive of our governing body’s goals. While I expect a lot of the US alliances to become more unstable with the tariffs, they will also become unstable with countries that are observing how the US carries itself within international relations and whether that lines up with their own morals.
Mars
Mars is located in the sixth house in Gemini while its d9 is in Taurus, and d12 in Aries. One of the first things that came to mind when I saw Mars’ configurations was that our country will be its own worst enemy, likely through laws and legislation that are rushed through without the foundational sustenance to uphold them. It wouldn’t be unlikely for some of the executive orders to be challenged, and other executive orders to be overturned. Enforcers of the law, such as police and military, will be in a ready position. Ready to do their ‘jobs’ at a moments notice, likely this means responding to protests and receiving more funding.
There may be some instability within the housing market over the next few months, buying and selling may be a little slower process while people selling will not get as much money as they hoped. With the south node significations, I can see bigger rental companies buying houses for as cheap as possible at auctions then renting at a high price. For the people, the cost of living will end up higher due to this dynamic. This also brings in the ninth house of the chart, implying a lot of people moving out of the country but not as many moving into the country. This could also be linked with deportations, as people are being forced outside of the borders and to detainment camps or to different countries.
Other things I noticed about Mars:
With its trine to Saturn in the second house, it seems like financials will ebb and flow, go up and down but more of a down trend.
Possibility of not addressing pandemics. Saturn can represent farms, and Mars being in the 6th averse to the Asc, I believe there wont be much information or action taken against the pandemics.
Mars is square Ketu in the ninth, signifying a lack of science and research to produce vaccines and treatments for the current pandemics.
Trouble for people choosing to leave the country, there may be unseen hurdles that are a challenge to jump over.
The breaking of alliances.
Mercury
Mercury is currently retrograde in the third house of Pisces, and though it is fallen, since it is retrograde it’s acting more as exalted Mercury in Virgo. Ketu is currently located in Virgo, while Rahu is in Pisces. Mercury can show what affects communications, news, infrastructure such as roads and bridges, and also represents children and school within this chart.
The first thing i’ve noticed is that the configurations are placed in a way where private schools will be ok, but public schools will lose funding. With the retrograde and nodal connection, and the aspects to Jupiter, I’m worried that funding for school lunches will be impacted negatively. Also within the realm of children, seeing less vaccinations and requirements for them to go away. Most children are required to be vaccinated when starting school, and if this goes away, with the misinformation that’s spread about vaccines, I’m worried that our children’s health will suffer in the long run. Most financial support for public schools will be negatively impacted over the beginning of this astrological year. Private schools may receive additional funding or scholarships to go to them.
Within the realms of communication, we can expect the news to be loud. Mars in Gemini being ruled by this Mercury brings up the significations of slander, fighting, sudden events, and likely reports on an increase in violence or protests from the people. The d12 brings in the significations of a focus on the other, but also the economy. I expect a lot of media and news to be focused around economic issues over the next few months.
Midpoints to Mercury bring in significations of correspondences and reporting on relations with countries that support the United States international efforts, and these correspondences will be seen as fortunate in the eyes of the country. There will be reporting positively on our allies, but smear campaigns against countries that are fighting with the United States and the ongoing wars, especially our neighboring countries when we consider those significations of the third house.
Jupiter
With the Mutual reception and retrogrades in this chart, a big focus of Jupiter is laying within population growth, there will be a focus of the government to try to pursued the population to follow traditional paths and get married and have children. There will, as mention above, be more funding and benefits for families who put their kids in private schools as well since public schools will be receiving less funding and government support. Mars is two signs from Jupiter in the sixth house of the chart, bringing up that topics around children and the governing body will revolve around health, once again bringing in debates around funding for schools but also vaccines. The Virgo south node trine also makes me believe that book bans will continue to gain support, while I also wouldn’t be surprised if laws allowing the inclusion of religious ideals and practices to enter the public school system.
There will be a focus on the rich and their lifestyles that they will be flaunting, it’s likely they will appear to common people as out of touch with reality. This is typically pretty standard, but expect the focus to shift towards topics about food and sustenance. So people with a lot of money advertising to the world how much health they have because they can afford foods within the inflation that the rest of the country is feeling. Expect entertainment and media to also put a focus on food and health as a status symbol rather than something the country should strive to make affordable for all of its people. A lot of this chart looks like the wealthy just hoarding resources and wealth, while we the people scramble to get by.
Venus
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and our President wants us to think he, and his ideas, are beautiful. Not to mention the new presidential side-kick, Elon Musk. They both care a lot about appearances, and Venus is in its sign of exaltation but retrograde.
One of the significations I was concerned with that includes Venus, is the possibility of private prisons being filled up and used for labor. We have the 10H libra ruled by a retrograde Venus in the 3rd, and the exaltation lord Saturn is 12 signs from Venus while trine Mars in the 6th. Detainment may go hand in hand with deportations, and used as slave labor for the country. Within the scope of the trajectory that we can see this administration going, a lot of Venus and the yoga/mutual reception to Jupiter will be focused around disinformation but to prop up specific ideals. There will be a strive for conformity rather than self expression, and there will also be just a lot of making stuff up and talking for the sake of it with the co-present Mercury.
With the trine to the 11H Moon ruled by Mars, while Mars is square Venus, I could see a lot of laws concerning vehicles coming out. Possibly getting rid of emissions requirements, but also a focus on “American Made” cars being what we should consider buying. With the Mercury and Mars in a Mercury sign significations I would say that laws concerning the portions of the budget that go to alternative transportation methods are likely to be on the chopping block. Alternative transportation methods, or alternatives to the most popular (cars), would be busses and trains.
Saturn 12 signs from Venus also brings in the topic of sex, since it’s connected with education and children with the co-present Mercury, I’m expecting a lot of sex-ed to either not be mandatory, or likely be rolled back to abstinence based on a more nationwide level. There will be a focus on sex being immoral or dangerous, rather than providing a comprehensive education, and it will be a way to make people feel shame for the pleasures they seek. The silver lining of these configurations is that I think there will be some sex scandals these next few months! There is a possibility that this is also the leading up to banning porn nationwide, or at least requiring identification to access adult sites, especially when I consider the trine to the Scorpio Moon.
Saturn
I’ve discussed Saturn’s interactions in a lot of the previous sections, so this section will be short. But Saturn is bringing in restriction and legislation to control the playing field, so to say. The state of the economy will not be great over the next few months, but it will be erratic with the trine to Mars in Gemini ruled by the retrograde Mercury. Saturn is edging on the critical degree of Aquarius, so we can expect these themes involved with it to be really loud and visible in our lives. The Moon Square Saturn implies people will be hard at work trying to survive within this climate, but also implies there may be protests among the people against the ruling and rich.
The only midpoint to Saturn is Mars/Midheaven, pulling the sixth and eleventh house. There’s an avoidance to actual progress socially, and a lack of care for the people. There’s an air of the government not wanting to get involved with a lot of conflicts, but rather use words and deals with other countries to get what they want. It’s almost eerie, there’s a sense that this is a waiting period. Waiting for certain laws and legislation to fall into place before more controlling actions are taken by the government.
With the second house involved, I expect a lot of disinformation about the federal budget and deficit. For an intro to understanding how the deficit works, I highly recommend this video:
Watching this video, then seeing the government talks about needing to reduce the national debt really made a lot of the governments conflicts over budget and debt seem obsolete. It’s a good talking point for them though.
The Nodes
The Nodes being in the 3/9 house axis bring in issues of trade. International trade will be picky, and we will likely only trade with countries who fully support the country’s current trajectory. There will also be talk about trying to dampen our desires and make us complacent to the times we are living in. Sexual desire can be found in the third house, and I believe this is showing how desire will be scrutinized within the scope of media.
Conclusion
If you’ve made it this far, I applaud you. If you needed to read it in segments and take breaks, I understand you! This is a lot of information covering a few months for our nation. I expect a lot of talk and not as much action on the policies that the administration promised within the next few months. This seems more like a foundational period to pass laws and legislation to provide a foundation for propaganda to spread like wildfire and get specific Project 2025 laws into place. Even deportations/detainment is a Saturn aspect within the grander “plan” of what this administration wants to do.
Hang in there, and I’ll be posting the Cancer ingress in a few months as we go into that period together. Don’t forget to unplug from the news and reality from time to time in order to protect your mental health. I keep up to date with politics and world news more than most, and I frequently feel compelled to take sporadic breaks from reading the news. I’m still current on situations, but also coming from a better place mentally. We may not have power within the government, maybe not even within our own homes or circumstances, but we do have the power to have a drink before bed. We have the power to eat our favorite little treat, indulge in some fancy tea, or even sit down and get lost in a book of fantasy. We will be seeking to escape the current stressors, and for some of us, the guilt of not always paying attention to the state of the world can almost bring in a sense of shame. It’s ok to stay distant from the bad news. It’s ok to disconnect when you need to. Take care of your own mental health before putting the burden of society at a whole on your shoulders. And if you can’t seem to pay attention to the news at all without feeling deep anxiety, I’ll keep you updated on loud transits and what to look out for over the next year.
We’ve got this! I see the power of the people taking a turn in this chart, people will be louder about their strife with how the government is running things. Even though I don’t see solutions coming to light in the next few months, we have fighting power within us. Be there for your friends, family, and neighbor and focus on the little things you can do to brighten the days of others.
