This Full Moon is going to be LOUD for those of us in the United States. In the chart of the moment for the Full Moon, the Moon is conjunct the Ascendant which is located in the eighth house of the Libra Ingress chart.

The eighth house is one of the dark houses in astrology, some common themes of this house are death, debts, defeat, obstacles, humiliation, inheritance, gifts, secrets, and other people’s wealth. With the first house of the Full Moon chart lining up with this house in the ingress, we can expect these themes to come up in our country, but also in the more minute level in our own personal lives. Today’s events and the ones that pop up over the next couple days will be something we come back to once Mars retrogrades in the first week of December. Whatever happens this week, nationally and personally, will show us little hints at what to expect for the months-long retrograde of Mars.
When reading the midpoints for this Full Moon, most midpoints to the Moon seemed a bit chaotic. We have some energy pulling from multiple houses that is all being bundled up into our houses of Aries and Taurus. The Moon is hinting at disappointing changes, strained relationships in the family, and some news considering children. Sudden news to the people is also a prominent midpoint. It seems that for our country, we may hear a large announcement about changes coming for us. I wouldn’t be incredibly surprised if someone prominent in the government, even the president, decided to step down or has to leave office due to health troubles. If not him, then someone else with prominent power in our government steps down or leaves office between this Full Moon and the Mars Retrograde. With following this theme through the upcoming retrograde we can also expect more sudden changes in our government this winter.
Midpoints to Venus hint at the allies of the United States will have more tense relations with the United States. There is going to be a lack of support coming in for the United States, due to differences in morals and not willing to compromise on them. Allies who we don’t have tense relations with will be the ones that seemingly have a lack of boundaries to begin with. This makes me think of Israel and the amount of support the United States sends them to commit genocide. I’m expecting an increase in the United States presence in both Palestine and Iran, and the United States possibly sending more of our own military to the areas. I could see the United States possibly losing allies or NATO support as a consequence of this allyship with Israel and the increase in military presence and action as more and more countries stand up for the Palestinian people.
The last world astrology themes I wanted to dig into were the midpoints that mentioned announcements about children. It’s likely we will hear an announcement or news concerning children and their health and education. There are themes of ‘wandering’ but also issues with health. The midpoints picked up for wandering make me think of the changes coming to the Department of Education, and since this brings up the health of children themes in midpoints as well, I’m inclined to believe that something destructive may come into this area for children in the country over the next couple of months and the beginning months of 2025.

This Full Moon not only has a big impact on our country, but also our personal lives. The themes of this Full Moon are focused on us seeing how far we’ve come since the New Moon, and the things we have to keep implementing in our lives to create steady change during this rough astro-weather that seems to push back against our advances. This Full Moon will have a way of revealing the hidden in our lives to give us a more full picture of what is going on in these areas. I see familial problems, endings to relationships and friendships, and changes in our area of work. The changes in our work can be everything from doing our job in a new more efficient way, getting a new job altogether, or even quitting your job to focus on something else in your life.
Teamwork during this Full Moon, at work and at home, will be stressful and likely shine light on tensions in relationships. The world around us, the people we see when we are out and about, the traffic we get stuck in on the way to work, all of these things will seem chaotic from our point of view. We will have a focus in our mind about the chaos other people introduce into our lives, and this chaos from outside sources will seep in to our mood and make us a little less patient with the people close to us. This can lead to the tensions I mentioned before, as we want to keep things friendly but our ability to manage anger and not taking out frustrations on the wrong people. Keeping this in mind, you may have people in your life that try to take this frustration out on you.. Patience and staying grounded will help get through this weird energy and help keep these relationships in tact. Choosing our words wisely will be necessary, and speaking in a collaborative way rather than seeking authority in situations is advised.
Within all of this energy, there are some nice midpoints for people who have relationships that aren’t being impacted negatively by the transits. The good relationships in your life are going to feel really good, and really stabilizing compared to the rest of the world around you. You may even reach a new level of intimacy during this period, as the shell around certain emotions seems to be less thick during this time. Sharing new playful secrets, talking about new things you want to try in the bedroom, and for some people a surprise proposal for a date or even marriage are among the themes here. There’s a theme about bringing up balance in relationships in order to protect them, and checking in on those you care about to make sure everything feels fair and just. You may have discussions about finances, career, and future goals with those close in your life, and find support you didn’t expect in these areas.
My advice for this Full Moon is to take note of the bigger things that happen, and take note of new information that comes to you as all of these themes will be a focus once more when Mars goes into retrograde next month. We should try to choose our words wisely, and try to not react too suddenly to things that seem to come up out of nowhere as these things will be re-introduced again in a month. Try to keep note of these themes and events, and think of a plan of action while Mars is slowing down to station retrograde. Reacting too quickly during this volatile Moon may not bring us anything ‘good’, as Mars always cuts both ways like a sharpened dagger.
